Stubhub is a ticket exchange/ticket resale company, backed and owned by Ebay. Launched in 2000 as a website selling baseball tickets, it has since become the second largest ticket exchange company in the US, as it sells to over 10 million live sports, concerts, and theater events in over 40 countries per month.

Stubhub is unique in it's business model, as it offers event tickets as well allowing the public to sell their own tickets as well. A scalpers dream, but in a legal and safer way. True to it's claim as "The world's top destination for ticket buyers and resellers."

It's easy to find and purchase tickets on Stubhub as it's website is very user friendly and easy to use. The website is split into three categories; music, sports, and theater. It also has a very prominent search field box, where you can find your preferred event. Once you find your event, you can filter your results by lowest price, best seats, as well as get a seating view. For last minute ticket buyers(LMS), I would recommend checking out the (LMS) services as you can pick up physical tickets at select locations/cities.

Are the ticket prices affordable? Well, keep in mind that Stubhub ticket prices are published by sellers and not by Stubhub. Ticket prices are determined by supply and demand, and how popular the event is. Premium events tend to be more costly, compared to a smaller events, which you may find equal to face value or sometimes even cheaper. In terms of ticket fees, Stubhub doesn't charge much compared to other comparable websites and that's always a relief!

One thing I don't like about Stubhub, like most ticket websites, is that their return policy isn't great. You're guaranteed to get your ticket in time, but refunds are only available if events are cancelled(Yes, you get screwed if the event is rescheduled). Though the website offers a great insurance with it's Fan Protect Guarantee, the refund policy could be better. Other than that, don't think

MrSportsGeek Pros for StubHub
Simple interface, clean look
Fan Protect Guarantee
Tons of event options
Affordable tickets for smaller events

MrSportsGeek Cons for StubHub
Refund policy could be better
Mediocre customer support
All sales are final(unless cancelled event)
Expensive tickets for popular events
