Most of us are familiar with Oklahoma City Thunder because they have had some pretty terrific players lately their fanbase has increased exponentially during this period. The team was founded in 1967 and it was located in Seattle, and it was known as Seattle SuperSonics. They stayed there from 1967 until 2008. During this time they won an NBA championship in 1979 and also three Western Conference titles. When they made the move in 2008, it was sold to Professional Basketball Club LLC for $350 million.
In 2012, they managed to go all the way to the NBA Finals, but couldn’t defeat the stacked team of Miami Heat, winning only one game and losing the next four. In the following season, they traded James Harden to the Houston Rockets and after failing to reach the Finals again, Kevin Durant left the team and joined Golden State Warriors. This left the management with only one of the initial trio of Westbrook, Durant, and Harden. Ever since that time, the OKC front office has been trying their hardest to sign new players and succeeded in signing Paul George, but for three straight seasons, they have been knocked out of the first round of the playoffs.
