Mixed martial arts is definitely a website that looks different when compared to other MMA websites. It offers some things that not many other websites have even tried to offer. For starters, I have to say that the Fighters tab was awesome. When you click on that tab, you will be able to search for every MMA fighter. I searched many fighters just to see if their database had enough information about fighters, and I was quite impressed with the results. They had detailed information about every fighter that I searched about. Their current record, age, height, weight and also every fight that they had in their professional careers was written in there. To add more, you could also click on each of the fights and you can see the result in detail.
This isn’t the only good thing about this website, they constantly update the website with news and I think that this may be a great website to follow when it comes to news about MMA. Their forums are also pretty active, with many users interacting daily and the posts over there are high-quality. In other words, you won’t get there spammy posts from users.
If we talk about the design of the website, it’s clear that it looks nice, but it can be done better. The homepage needs a little work because it looks more like pinterest and less like a website that has to do with MMA. I don’t see anything wrong with the way the news and articles are written, but rather the way that they are listed is a bit confusing. Despite all of this, I have to give credit to them for not focusing only on UFC, since they post also news from all over the world. While this may not mean anything to the casual UFC fan, the die-hard fans will appreciate the diversity that this website offers.
My opinion on this website is generally positive. It’s easy to navigate, has great content, plenty of variety, qualitative articles and also an impressive fighters’ database. Despite all these positive aspects, there is still something missing, a podcast section, where people would be able to listen to the opinions of fighters or analysts. It's a good website that caters to both casual and die hard fans.
