Launched in 2001, Vivid Seats is a Chicago based ticket resale company, that offers resale tickets to concerts, theater, and sporting events. It's a wide variety of ticket options list includes; professional sports, college sports events, concerts, etc.
As a resale ticket site, anyone can sign up for an account for free, with sellers having the advantage of utilizing SkyBox by Vivid Seats, a tool that let's you manage, price and sell your tickets. The tool is also integrated with TicketMaster & Stubhub which gives you the option to manage multiple selling accounts, a definite plus for resellers! Keep in mind, Vivid Seats will take a 10% cut of each sale you make. A fair price in my opinion.
Site wise, VividSeats.com has a very clean interface, which is easy to navigate and it's landing page automatically gives you a list of the nearest events near you. The search field is also responsive and gives you many options to choose and can be filtered by date, location, seating zone, event, price, etc. A great tool to check out, is the value score, which gives the buyer the ability to see if the ticket is worth the price.
The good? There's a few! A great search result gives you many ticket event options, the SkyBox tool for resellers to take advantage of, and the Value Score tool for ticket buyers to gauge whether ticket prices are worth purchasing. Also, VividSeats.com is backed by ESPN as their official ticket partner and that itself gives them a lot of clout.
The bad? As usual, it's common for ticket reseller websites to have a strict return policy. All sales are final. No returns or exchange, unless your event is cancelled. Also, if you search long and hard online, there are numerous reports about the site not providing tickets on time, inflated ticket fees and bad customer service. Ouch :(
The bottom line? VividSeats.com has great useful tools for both ticket buyers and resellers to utilize. It's also backed by ESPN which
