As a sports division of the American television network CBS, CBS Sports offers your daily sports news reports, scores, highlights, and analysis. It covers all 4 US major sports; NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. It also covers High School athletics, Golf, Collegiate Sports, Mma and more.
When I think of CBS Sports, live sport events comes to mind. NFL, College Football, NCAA Basketball, and Golf are all broadcasted by the network. With NFL and College Basketball Tournament games being it's top rated sports programming. The same quality you expect from their tv sports programming can be expected as well on their website. The graphics and layout are very simple, and I believe it's most user-friendly sports website around.
Recently, CBS Sports launched CBS Sports HQ which specializes in streaming sports content. So if you're looking for scores and highlights, that's your source. It's free and can be accessed on the website. Another great content to check out would be Sportsline. It's a division of CBS that was purchased in 2004, and features advanced statistics, sports betting and fantasy sports. So if you're a betting guy, this would be a great tool for you.
Overall, CBSSports.com is a great website and I highly reocmmend it for all sports fans.
